Duncan secor

Physical Therapist

Duncan grew up in Minnesota and moved to Vermont in the fall of 2021 to experience living in the mountains and enjoy all this area has to offer. He has enjoyed exercise and outdoor activities his whole life and became interested in PT during high school from his experiences playing sports growing up.

He graduated with his DPT degree from the University of Jamestown in Fargo, ND in 2017 and has practiced at multiple inpatient and outpatient facilities since then. Duncan utilizes a patient- centered approach to cater PT goals and treatments to maximize patient experience in PT. He takes great joy in seeing patients accomplish their goals and improve their quality of life. Duncan enjoys working with the orthopedic population and has a particular interest in treating patients with ankle and shoulder injuries. Duncan recently completed his first Postural Restoration Institute (PRI) course and has enjoyed incorporating knowledge from that course into patient care. He is looking forward to continuing his PRI education to further optimize the treatments he can provide to patients.

Duncan enjoys a multitude of outdoor activities including running, bicycling, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, swimming, and kayaking. He has been fortunate enough to participate in many marathons and triathlons, as well as getting to experience the trip of a lifetime when he got to summit Mount Kilimanjaro with his mother in October 2019. He still counts that sunrise at the summit as the most beautiful one he has ever seen. In addition, Duncan loves reading, baking, photography, listening to music, traveling, and sunrises/sunsets.
